Mr. Thaddeus L. Darling (deceased) was one of the founding forefathers of The Bahamas Public Services Union. He was the 2nd President of the Union . A giant of a man he served with distinction from 1967 - 1976.
One of the most outstanding accomplishment under the leadership of Mr. Darling was the purchase of the property in Keningston Gardens on East Street South and the construction of the Union 's Complex on East Street , which consisted of twelve (12) apartments and the Union 's meeting hall. |
