Mr. William L. McDonald born November 10, 19 44 , in the small picturesque settlement of Orange Creek, Cat Island , Bahamas . Mr. McDonald earned his early childhood education at The Orange Creek All Age Public School and later moved to Nassau where he attended College of The Bahamas and further his education with The University of Miami, Florida.
Mr. McDonald holds a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration and Associates of Arts Degree.
Mr. McDonald joined The Bahamas Immigration Department in December 1966 where he presently holds the position of a Director.
Mr. McDonald's Trade Unionism began in 1974 when he held the of Shop Steward until 1977. He was later elected Second Vice of The Bahamas Public Services Union from 1977 to 1982 and First Vice President from 1982 to 1990. In 1990 he was elected President where he served until 2002.
Mr. William L. McDonald is a Founding Member of the Public Workers Co-Operative Credit Union in 1979 and also held the position of President for the period 1988 -1990. Mr. McDonald is presently an Executive Member of The Caribbean Public Service Association since 1985.

Mr. McDonald is of the Methodist religion and is married with two wonderful girls whom he loved dearly. |
